Is Biomass Fuel Really Green?

Of course! Though the Environmental Protection Agency does not get it, the American people do!

Look out the window. Is biomass green? Yes! No buts about it! Its green. It is not black like coal or oil. It is not full of heavy metals, sulfur, cadmium, arsenic or any of that other stuff. It is green and part of our normal environment.

But, but, but, … so the protest begins. But, you had to deliver that fuel to the power plant by truck or rail. And, there’s the fuel for the tractor. And … Hogwash! Duh! They just don’t get it!

Name any fuel that did not have some combustion engine involved for delivery! That natural gas was pumped to your house using compressors. You guessed it, that compressor had some form of combustion engine. Then there is the hydro plant. Even see one built? Did you see those massive machines that used combustion engines polluting the land!!! Even solar and wind use vast amounts of steel and man-made materials. Yep! You guessed it!

The fact is, anything man makes, has a carbon foot print. But, compared to coal or oil, the footprint from biomass is tiny! The harnessing of a green renewable fuel source like biomass is a big step in America’s quest for energy independence! It is a renewable fuel that we have all around us! We control it and it a lot healthier for the planet!

Make the farmer your next fuel supplier, not some foreign county that does not like us very much! Is biomass really green? You know the answer. Take a moment to explain it to the EPA! They need a little common sense!
